NTT Earthquake Update: 47 People Dead, Residents Still Searching for Relatives in the Rubble

The magnitude 7.7 earthquake that shook northern Flores on Saturday (8/15) at 04:58 WIB caused casualties and damage in several districts of NTT. Based on preliminary data from BNPB, at least 47 people have died, with the most victims in Manggarai Regency (24 people) and East Manggarai (17 people). Joint teams from the military, police, Basarnas, BPBD, volunteers, and the community continue to evacuate and search for victims.
