Moral Foundation a Priority, Jember Government Distributes Incentives for Quran Teachers
The Jember Regency Government emphasizes the importance of character and moral development as the main foundation. Regent Muhammad Fawait, during the Bunga Desaku event at Sukorambi Village Hall, stated that the role of Quran teachers is crucial in shaping a generation balanced in intellectual intelligence and noble manners. "The most important knowledge is morals. It is only fitting for the government to be present and give respect," he said on Tuesday (June 30).
As appreciation, the Jember government is again distributing incentives for Quran teachers. Gus Fawait stressed that this incentive is not just material assistance, but state recognition of their dedication. "Whether given or not, Quran teachers keep teaching because it's a calling from the soul," he asserted. The incentive symbolizes appreciation for their service in maintaining the nation's morals.
Addressing juvenile delinquency, the Regent reminded of the need for moral education synergy at home and in the community. He invited parents to direct their children to regularly attend dhikr and salawat gatherings, which are considered effective in instilling peace of mind and love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
