Mojokerto Regency Allocates Rp 27 Billion for Religious Activities, TPQ Teacher Incentives Triple
The Mojokerto Regency government has set aside grants of around Rp 27 billion for religious activities in 2026. This was shared by the Regional Secretary of Mojokerto Regency, Teguh Gunarko, during the 651st Haul of Syekh Djumadil Kubro public recitation in Trowulan on Wednesday night (1/7).
On top of that, incentives for teachers at Al-Qur'an Education Parks (TPQ) have been raised from Rp 400,000 to Rp 1.2 million per person, with the total budget jumping from Rp 2 billion to Rp 6.5 billion. Teguh stressed that this shows the government’s attention to religious education.
The regency administration also plans to support the haul event and the construction of a fence at Troloyo Cemetery through the 2027 regional budget, asking the committee to quickly submit a budget plan.
