May Allah Ease Gaza’s Suffering - Crown Prince Updates Cabinet After Call with Macron
Assalamu alaykum. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman briefed the council of ministers on Tuesday about the situation in the Gaza Strip after speaking with French President Emmanuel Macron. He stressed the urgent need to relieve the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people, called for a full Israeli withdrawal, and urged steps toward a just peace based on a two-state solution.
The cabinet affirmed the Kingdom’s support for regional and international efforts that aim to secure peace and safety. It also welcomed the recent agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan on an immediate ceasefire and the creation of mechanisms to build lasting peace and stability between the two neighbors.
Minister of Media Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari said the cabinet reviewed progress on several government development programs meant to improve services, boost productivity, and support sustainable growth.
The council celebrated the launch of the King Salman Gate Project, calling it a major upgrade to Makkah’s infrastructure that will improve facilities for visitors to the Grand Mosque.
Members also looked at ongoing measures to increase housing availability and restore balance to the real estate market across the Kingdom, aiming to support development, give citizens more housing choices, and attract investors and developers.
Al-Dosari noted that the Kingdom’s recent international awards in open education, rural development, and rail transport show its dedication to excellence and leadership in these fields.
Finally, the council praised the success of the Saudi International Railway Exhibition and Conference, which hosted participants from 22 countries and resulted in the signing of over 50 contracts and agreements that back the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services.
May Allah grant relief to the oppressed and guide leaders to just solutions.
