KPK Unravels Alleged Flow of Rp369.9 Million to Forestry Ministry, Repayment to Raja Juli Not Whole
The KPK suspects that funds from Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby flowed not only to Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni, but also to other officials at the Forestry Ministry. The total amount allegedly given reached S$26,500 or around Rp369.9 million.
Investigations revealed the alleged handover of an envelope containing S$14,000 (about Rp195.4 million) to Raja Juli. The money was returned through an aide on June 12, 2026, but the amount is suspected to be incomplete. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said investigators are still checking the discrepancy in the repayment.
KPK also suspects Suhardiman gave S$12,500 (about Rp174.5 million) to a Forestry Ministry official in May 2026, which has not been returned. This finding strengthens the bribery allegations related to forest area release permits. Witnesses and evidence continue to be examined.
