Jombang Police Chief Hands Over Sacrificial Cows Aided by East Java Police Chief to Two Islamic Boarding Schools
The Jombang Police distributed two sacrificial cows, a donation from East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto, to Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School and Hafidzul Musthofah Al Hasaniyyah Islamic Boarding School in Mejoyo Village, Gudo District, on Tuesday (5/26). The aid was handed over directly by Jombang Police Chief AKBP Ardi Kurniawan ahead of Eid al-Adha 1447 H.
At Tebuireng, the cow was received by the boarding school secretary KH Abdul Gofar, while at Hafidzul Musthofah it was received by the foundation chairwoman Hj Nur Zakiyah. The handover was warm and attended by the boarding school caretakers, students, and police personnel.
AKBP Ardi Kurniawan said that this distribution is a form of the police's care to strengthen ties with ulama, students, and the community, and emphasized the role of pesantren in shaping the character of the younger generation. KH Abdul Gofar appreciated the assistance as proof of the police's presence in social and religious activities.
This activity also aims to strengthen synergy between the police and religious figures in maintaining security and order in Jombang Regency.
