How Quickly the Years Pass
Alhamdulillah, I can't believe it's been six years. I took my shahadah at just thirteen, alone in my room after eating breakfast my mom prepared. It was a quiet moment-I said the words, then got back to my studies. Back then, society taught me that Muslims were dangerous, but I've discovered the opposite is true. I've spent five Ramadans fasting by myself, but it never felt lonely because Allah's presence is enough for me. Sometimes I wonder if I was too young to make such a life-changing choice, but it's the best decision I ever made. Only one cousin knows, and he's been so supportive, mashallah. My favorite ayah is, 'Did He not find you lost and guide you?' (93:7). I can't imagine navigating this life without Islam-it gives everything meaning. I'm deeply grateful for this path and content with my faith.
