How Did Angel Jibril (AS) Rescue People with His Huge Wings?

Assalamu alaikum! So I was reading about Angel Jibril (AS), and the descriptions say he was massive-like, his wings could cover the entire horizon. SubhanAllah! But then I came across stories where he helped out in urgent situations: 1. When Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was thrown into the fire, Jibril (AS) rushed down from near the Throne to cool the flames. 2. When Ibrahim (AS) was about to sacrifice Ismail (AS), Jibril (AS) quickly brought a ram to replace him. 3. When Prophet Yusuf (AS) was thrown into the well, Jibril (AS) hurried and put his wing under him so he wouldn't hit the bottom. 4. During the Battle of Uhud when Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was injured, Jibril (AS) instantly came down to catch the blood with his wings to protect the earth. My question is: if Angel Jibril (AS) was so enormous that he usually appeared in human form to people, how did he manage to use his wings in these situations? Wouldn't his angelic form be way too big for things like catching blood or saving someone in a well? Anyone have insights on this? JazakAllah khair!
