Four Madura Men Arrested by Police After Embezzling a Gresik Resident's Motorcycle

Four men from Bangkalan, Madura, were picked up by Bungah Police on suspicion of embezzling a Honda Vario motorcycle belonging to a resident of Mengare, Kramat Village, Bungah District, Gresik. The victim lost about 15 million rupiah. Bungah Police Chief AKP Suhari explained that the suspects borrowed the victim’s motorcycle on the pretext of going to Sembayat Village, but instead they took it to Madura by boat through Mengare Port. The victim got suspicious and then set a trap for the perpetrators by luring them with a promise of a family settlement. Two of the suspects who brought the motorcycle from Madura were caught by local residents and handed over to the police.
