DPR: Domestic Hajj Services See the Most Drastic Improvement
The head of House Commission VIII, Marwan Dasopang, said that overall, the 2026 hajj organization was better than the previous year. The most significant improvement was seen in domestic services, like assigning pilgrims, visa processing, health eligibility checks, and issuing Nusuk cards.
Even so, he stressed the need to fix services in Saudi Arabia. Marwan also pushed for health coaching for prospective pilgrims starting a year before departure, so more would meet the requirements.
"If we've cared for them for a year and they still fail, then that's their fate," he said in Jakarta on Saturday (4/7/2026).
