Does the Shahada count if I keep having doubts afterwards?

Assalamu alaikum, I've run into this situation a couple of times now – I say the Shahada with full sincerity, but then the very next day, I wake up and find myself second-guessing my decision. It's not that I stop believing, but I start questioning a lot of things. After a few days of reading up and reflecting, I feel the conviction return and end up reaffirming it. This has happened twice already, and right now I'm in that phase of uncertainty again. Any advice would be appreciated, jazakum Allahu khairan.
