Din Syamsuddin Slams Detention of Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa: Clear Injustice
Former PP Muhammadiyah chairman Din Syamsuddin has criticized the detention of Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma (Doctor Tifa) in connection with the alleged fake diploma case of 7th President Joko Widodo. Din called the detention a clear injustice that seems forced. He feels the police have been unfair and biased.
Din also expressed his willingness to act as a guarantor so that both would not be detained. Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya’s Director of General Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, explained that the arrest was made to hand over the suspects and evidence to the public prosecutor, as well as to ensure the physical and mental well-being of the suspects.
