Death Toll from Israeli Aggression in Gaza Reaches 73,000
The number of Palestinians killed due to Israeli military aggression in the Gaza Strip has reached 73,016 as of Wednesday (6/17), mostly women and children. The injury toll stands at 173,265 since the war began on October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours, two bodies and five injured people were brought to hospitals.
Since the ceasefire on October 10, 2025, Israeli forces have reportedly killed 1,005 people and wounded 3,157 others, while 784 bodies have been recovered. Around 10,000 people are still missing, believed to be buried under rubble.
The aggression has forced nearly 2 million residents to leave their homes, most of them fleeing to Rafah in southern Gaza. This displacement is considered the largest exodus of Palestinians since the 1948 Nakba. (ANTARA)
