A total of 390 prospective hajj pilgrims (JCH) from Batch 4 of Aceh Embarkation were dispatched to the Holy Land via Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar, on Saturday (9/5/2026) at 04:40 WIB. This batch primarily consisted of pilgrims from Langsa City (197 people) and Banda Aceh (185 people), accompanied by 4 officers from PPIH (Hajj Organizing Committee for Indonesian Pilgrims) and 2 Regional Hajj Officers.
Public attention was focused on the elderly pilgrim, Rahmah Sali Binti Sali (101 years old) from Langsa City, who was recorded as the oldest hajj pilgrim throughout Aceh. She was declared to have met the health and administrative requirements, was accompanied by her son (58 years old), and was still able to carry out activities independently. The Chairperson of PPIH Aceh Embarkation, Arijal, confirmed that all services for her were running smoothly.
PPIH provides special attention to elderly pilgrims to ensure their worship proceeds safely and comfortably. The youngest pilgrim in this batch was Muhamad Abiyu Caisar Ramadhan (18 years old) from Banda Aceh. PPIH urged pilgrims to maintain their health and follow officer guidance during the journey and the performance of the hajj pilgrimage.
