Are These Current Events Signs of Coming Famine?

Hey everyone. I've seen a lot of discussion lately connecting what's happening in the world to prophecies about a famine lasting three years before the end times. There are quite a few hadith on this topic, ranging from sahih to weaker ones. I'm curious what other Muslims think about this-do you believe these signs are becoming clearer? And if you do, how are you preparing? I live in South Asia, so sometimes it feels like our experience is a bit different from other parts of the Muslim world. Assalamu Alaikum.
