9 Effective Prayers After Asr on Friday
Friday is a special time in Islam, and after Asr is a moment when prayers are answered. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that there's a time on Friday when a Muslim servant's prayer won't be rejected, which is at the end of the day after Asr (narrated by Abu Dawud).
Some recommended prayers include: seeking forgiveness (istighfar), asking for protection from hellfire, reciting Al-Fatihah and Ayat al-Kursi, increasing in glorification (tasbih), praise (tahmid), magnification (takbir), and declaration of faith (tahlil), as well as prayers for safety and sufficient sustenance.
Muslims are encouraged to enliven that time with prayers and remembrance, seeking forgiveness, protection, and goodness in this world and the hereafter.
