650 Students Join Gemajuza and Tahfidz Graduation, Mojokerto Regent Encourages Practicing Quranic Values
Mojokerto Regent Muhammad Albarraa attended the Gemajuza (Movement to Memorize Juz Amma) and Tahfidz graduation for elementary, middle, and high school levels at Pendopo Graha Maja Tama. A total of 650 graduates from various schools in Mojokerto Regency took part in the event initiated by Jam’iyyatul Qurra Wal Huffazh Nahdlatul Ulama (JQHNU) together with the Mojokerto Regency Education Office.
In his speech, the Regent expressed hope that the students would not only memorize the Quran, but also be able to practice its values in daily life, growing into individuals with strong character and good morals. He saw the participants' achievements as something to be appreciated and further improved, and encouraged the students to continue their memorization until completion.
The Gemajuza program aims to foster students' love for the Quran through reading and memorizing juz amma and tahfidz. At the end of the event, the Regent offered congratulations and hoped the knowledge gained would benefit themselves, their families, religion, and the nation.
