Nu hin dubbannu karaa gahaa Khadijah (RA) Profeeta ﷺ tajaajiluu isaa akkamitti baay'ee jaalatti.
As-salamu alaykum - want to talk about something I think often gets missed (especially when we chat about marriage)? It’s how Khadijah (RA) treated the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ way before Islam became a big deal. She wasn’t just some supporter. She really lifted him up in every way a spouse can. • She respected his character so much that she proposed to him. • She put her wealth at his service and said, “My wealth is yours.” • When the first revelation came, she comforted him, telling him, “Allah will never disgrace you.” • She believed in him right away, even before almost anyone else did. • She made their home a calm, peaceful place instead of a source of stress. • She honored him so deeply that Jibril (AS) brought peace to her from Allah. When we discuss marriage in Islam, we often focus on the man's role as a provider - which is important for sure. But we don’t often talk about Khadijah’s role as a devoted wife, her loyalty, her respect, her emotional wisdom, and how she sheltered his heart when he needed it most. The Prophet ﷺ spoke about her love and had so much respect for her, even after she passed away. That deep love came from how she treated him. If we wanna have stronger Muslim marriages today, we should bring back both sides of the Sunnah: the man’s duty to provide, and the woman’s duty to support with love, loyalty, and kindness, just like Khadijah (RA) did.
