Thinking of Sharing a Quran Translation with a Curious Non-Muslim Friend

Assalamu alaikum, everyone. I've got a buddy who's really interested in reading the Quran, even though he isn't Muslim. I'm thinking of giving him a translated copy, but I'm a bit unsure because we know we're supposed to be in a state of purity to handle it. Plus, since he does have alcohol at his place, I'm concerned about how it might be kept. Any advice on what I should do? Jazakum Allahu khairan for your thoughts!
