The Subang District Prosecutor's Office has received a public complaint regarding ambulance corruption, and legal representatives are urging the investigation of officials at the Health Department.
The Subang District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) officially received a follow-up complaint report regarding the corruption scandal in the procurement of ambulances for Subang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Thursday, April 17, 2026. The request was submitted by the Law Office of Taufik Nasution & Partners to push for the case's expansion, ensuring law enforcement is not perceived as selective.
The legal representatives, Taufik H. Nasution and Hugo S. Tambunan, emphasized the importance of targeting parties with structural authority, including the former Head of the Subang District Health Office who also served as Director of Subang RSUD, Dr. H. Nunung Syuhaeri. This refers to the Bandung District Court’s decision number 97/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Bandung, which had previously implicated two defendants.
In an official statement on Friday, April 18, 2026, Taufik stated, “We urge the Prosecutor to investigate the role of the former Head of the Health Office and trace the coordination flow with the Commitment Making Official at that time.” The legal team hopes that the Subang District Prosecutor's Office will take immediate concrete steps to recover state losses, given that this case involves the procurement of public health facilities which requires transparency and firmness from officials.
