Should I still go to the masjid for Fajr if they pray late?

Salam everyone, I need some advice. The mosque close to my place does Fajr prayer about an hour and a bit after the actual prayer time starts. So by then it’s already getting light outside, but the sun hasn’t fully come up yet. Is it still mandatory for me to go? Or would it be better if I just pray at home? If anyone can share some proof, that would be really helpful. JazakAllah khair.
