Pakistan makes hepatitis C tests mandatory for health ministry staff

Pakistan's health minister announced that hepatitis C screening is now compulsory for all employees of the health ministry. He stated that salaries will be withheld from next month for any staff who do not get tested. The minister made the announcement at the launch ceremony for a national hepatitis C elimination program.
