Pakistan ends used car imports under personal baggage scheme

Pakistan's government has abolished the Personal Baggage Scheme for importing used vehicles. The commerce minister said the scheme was being misused for commercial purposes. Conditions for two other import schemes have been tightened, including longer stay-abroad requirements and a longer period before vehicles can be sold.
