Menkop Ferry Juliantono Says Rp1.8 Trillion Fan Procurement Not Under Kemenkop's Authority

Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono stated that the procurement of 1.8 million fan units worth Rp1.8 trillion in the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih program is not under his ministry's authority. He made this statement during a meeting with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives in Jakarta on Thursday (7/16/2026). Commission VI member Mufti Anam questioned the transparency of the procurement because there's been no official government explanation. He highlighted that the unit price of the fans seems way above market rates, which, based on his research, ranges from Rp300 thousand to Rp338 thousand per unit. Ferry responded by mentioning that certain fan types, like the Imatsu MDF, are priced over Rp11 million per unit on e-commerce.
