Graduates from MBR School of Government Equipped to Lead Innovation and AI Integration in UAE Public Sector, Insha'Allah
Alhamdulillah, graduates from the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government are now prepared to take on future leadership roles with confidence. On Tuesday, 75 Emiratis, including senior figures from federal and local government as well as private sectors, celebrated their graduation at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
They earned degrees in public administration, public policy, and innovation management. Brother Sulaiman Al Kaabi, 42, who completed the executive master of public administration, shared that his studies deepened his understanding of public and financial policies along with legislative processes.
“We had valuable field visits and learned directly from experts and leaders across various sectors. The program truly highlighted the wisdom of our leadership,” he said.
Brother Rashed Al Neyadi, 26, who works in government, spent 18 months earning his degree in innovation management. He emphasized, “Innovation is essential in all our country’s institutions; it’s the foundation for addressing future challenges while optimizing resources.”
He also mentioned the school’s focus on technology and artificial intelligence, skills that will support the ongoing transformation in government sectors. “The program taught us leadership, soft skills, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork - lessons not always found in other colleges,” he added.
Sister Shouq Al Harbi, also a government employee and executive master graduate, expressed inspiration from the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid (may Allah protect him). She said, “This program prepares us to serve in leadership roles and offers diverse pathways in human resources, public policy, and governance so we can face future challenges with confidence.”
Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, executive president of MBRSG, explained that the school aligns its efforts with Dubai’s latest educational and economic strategies, especially considering rapid developments like AI and new technologies. “Our goal, Insha’Allah, is to be among the top five government schools worldwide,” he said.
The school is also integrating AI into research and curriculum development to enhance students’ skills, fulfilling Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of empowering people through knowledge.
AI is expected to be a key player in the UAE’s future governance, with initiatives like the National Artificial Intelligence System advising the Cabinet and government boards starting January. Other projects include the Future Governments Research Centre and a global leaders program to showcase UAE’s achievements internationally.
Additionally, the school plans to launch an alumni ambassadors program and establish scholarships and grants to support ongoing education and research.
May Allah bless these graduates and guide them to serve their communities with wisdom and dedication, Ameen.
