Gathering with the Moms of Kampung Serang, Emin Suryana Promises to Give Women a Space to Voice Their Aspirations in the Village
Hundreds of mothers from Kampung Serang, Tamanrahayu Village, Setu District, Bekasi Regency, gathered and had a meal together with Emin Suryana, the prospective candidate for Tamanrahayu Village Head, on Friday, July 17, 2026. They were enthusiastic about taking photos with Emin.
Heny Ratnasari, one of the residents, expressed her support because Tamanrahayu needs change, especially so that women's aspirations are heard. She hopes Emin can provide a space for women's voices that have so far been overlooked by the government.
Emin Suryana acknowledged that he has heard complaints from women who have difficulty voicing their aspirations. He plans to form a special team to accommodate and ensure that women can freely express their aspirations in village development.
