Exciting New Attractions at Global Village's 30th Season – A Family-Friendly Experience
Assalamu Alaikum, friends! The 30th season of Global Village is opening on October 15, and there are some wonderful new attractions to enjoy until May 10. This beloved family destination in Dubai, which takes a break every summer, is celebrating a special milestone this year.
Since it first welcomed visitors in 1997, Global Village has become one of the top spots in the UAE, with a record 10.5 million guests last season alone. This year, one of the highlights is the Gardens of the World-a beautiful space filled with flowers and landmarks from around the globe. It stretches from the Egypt pavilion all the way to the Iran pavilion and is perfect for peaceful walks and relaxing with family.
Another exciting addition is the Dragon Kingdom, an interactive experience where visitors walk through 11 themed rooms. You’ll enter the mythical Blackstone Hollow and help the last dragon, Ignis, regain his lost power by solving puzzles and uncovering clues. Each room offers a unique challenge mixing fantasy, mystery, and adventure.
The little ones will have a blast later in the season at The Little Wonderers at Carnaval, an indoor adventure park featuring obstacle courses, climbing frames, slides, ball pits, tunnels, and more.
The Main Stage has also been upgraded with more space and improved facilities, ready to host even bigger shows. Last season saw performances by famous artists from the region and beyond.
You’ll also notice the dragon in the lake has new fire effects, adding to the magical atmosphere. Food lovers can explore the expanded Fiesta Street, while the newly renamed Dessert District (formerly The Railway Market) offers fantastic spots for taking memorable photos.
Entry tickets are Dh25 from Sunday to Thursday, and Dh30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Kids under three, seniors over 65, and people of determination enter free. Tuesdays are special days reserved for ladies and families, except during public holidays.
For those wanting a premium experience, VIP Packs start at Dh1,800 and include multiple tickets, parking perks, and attraction passes.
