Embracing Islam After Years of Searching

Today, I finally admitted something I've felt for a while-that my previous faith in Christianity didn't align with my heart. Growing up, worshipping Jesus as more than a prophet never sat right with me, especially when seeing how some twist religion to justify terrible actions in the world. I've realized that Allah (SWT) is far greater than any human figure on Earth. While I respect Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) as a messenger, I believe only Allah deserves worship. Now that I've made this decision, I could really use some guidance on where to begin-should I start by reading the Quran and go from there? Any advice would be appreciated.
