Civil Servant in Surabaya Dies After Snatching Incident on Kusuma Bangsa Street

A civil servant in Surabaya, Widya Riskyanti (28), a staff member at BPN Surabaya, died after getting snatched on Kusuma Bangsa Street, behind Grand City Mall, on Tuesday (6/2). The victim was treated at Dr. Soetomo Hospital for four days and passed away on Friday (6/5) afternoon. The perpetrator grabbed her bag containing a phone and wallet, causing her to fall and suffer severe head injuries. The victim’s mother, Isnaini Budiarti, said that she underwent surgery but her condition remained critical. One suspect has been caught, while another is still being hunted by the police.
