Bojonegoro Farmers Receive Agricultural Equipment Aid from the Ministry of Agriculture
Farmers in Bojonegoro got a helping hand from the Ministry of Agriculture through the Bojonegoro district government, getting agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan) to boost productivity and speed up food crop cultivation.
The Food Security and Agriculture Office (DKPP) handed out eight units of alsintan to eight farmer groups and joint farmer groups across several sub-districts. The aid included six two-wheel tractors, one four-wheel tractor, and one rice transplanter.
One of the recipients, Kirnan, the head of the Subur Makmur farmer group in Ngemplak Village, was really grateful for the rice transplanter. He said it would speed up planting, make the results neater, and cut down on labor costs. He hoped the tool would help overcome the labor shortage when planting seasons overlap.
Kirnan made sure that the alsintan would be shared among group members and well taken care of so its benefits can keep going.
