Banda Aceh DPRK Member Says Strengthening Islamic Law Needs Joint Support
BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh DPRK member, Tgk H Januar Hasan, expressed support for the city government's move to strengthen the implementation of Islamic Sharia. He said the policy preserves the region's character rooted in Islamic values and must be backed by all elements of society.
He emphasized that Banda Aceh, as the face of Aceh, has a big responsibility to show that Islamic Sharia works well and brings benefit. This reinforcement isn't just about rules, but building a safe, orderly social environment that aligns with religious values.
Under the leadership of Mayor Illiza Sa'aduddin Djamal, the city government is seen as serious through continuous monitoring and guidance programs. Januar Hasan said these steps maintain a balance between rule enforcement and community development.
He also highlighted the role of Satpol PP and WH in monitoring potential qanun violations. The approach taken is preventive and educational, aiming to increase public understanding so violations can be minimized.
