Assaults at Al-Aqsa and Rising Tensions - May Allah Protect the Holy Places
As-salamu alaykum. I’m sharing this to raise awareness and ask for prayers. Dozens of far-right Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Monday, escorted by heavy Israeli police presence. The Islamic Waqf, which manages the site, said they came in through Bab Al-Magharebah Gate, walked around the plaza and prayed in the eastern section - actions the Waqf called provocative. Al-Aqsa (Al-Haram Al-Sharif) is one of the holiest places in Islam, alongside Makkah and Madinah, and the Waqf warned that these tours - known to some as visits to the Temple Mount - aim to change the status and access to the site over time.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out raids in several towns across the occupied West Bank, detaining 14 people described as wanted, including academics, women, and young men, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported. They also demolished a house in Al-Walajeh village west of Bethlehem and destroyed two agricultural rooms and two water wells in Wadi Rahal southeast of the city, according to local news.
Tragically, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 17-year-old Jamil Atef Hanani, who died from wounds sustained by Israeli gunfire on Sunday evening in Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Please keep the victims, their families, and the holy sites in your duas. May Allah grant protection, justice, and ease to those suffering.
