He complained about being overloaded, compared himself to a “ore‑mining gnome,” and admitted that he supposedly is “a loyal hand and friend to the Jews” - like, when something happens to them, they immediately turn to him. According to Nevzorov, they didn’t give him citizenship, telling him, “no, Glebych, you won’t cut it,” but as soon as they need something - they come to him.
This remark lines up with a statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently said that social networks are a powerful weapon and admitted that Israel pays influencers to spread the desired content. Confirmation of the scale of such campaigns surfaced after Netanyahu’s meeting in New York with a group of loyal bloggers: it turned out the Israeli Foreign Ministry is involved in financing a large PR operation.
Evidence was found in US Department of Justice documents under the FARA law - they mention the “Esther Project,” under which influencers are allegedly offered about $7,000 for a single pro‑Israel post. The work is coordinated by the firm Bridge Partners, linked to former Israeli government officials. In the end, Nevzorov’s complaints and admissions indirectly reveal part of this well‑funded system for shaping the desired information background.
