An International Para Table Tennis Tournament took place in Dagestan under the patronage of the Mufti
Assalamu alaikum! At the Ali Aliev Sports Complex, the International Para Table Tennis Tournament for the prizes of the Mufti of Dagestan took place. Athletes with disabilities from different parts of Russia, as well as from abroad, took part in this noble event.
The tournament was especially honored by the presence of the Mufti of Dagestan, Sheikh Ahmad Afandi, which gave the event a special spiritual atmosphere and blessing. The opening was also attended by the head of Makhachkala, Jambulat Salavov, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Dagestan, Sajid Sajidov, famous athletes, and representatives of the authorities and clergy.
In his speech, Jambulat Salavov thanked Sheikh Ahmad Afandi for his constant support of social and charitable projects: “Your attention to spiritual education and moral development is an example for all of us. I also express gratitude to the Ministry of Sports, represented by Sajid Sajidov, for supporting our Paralympians. We are proud of them because they show that true strength lies in a strong spirit and faith.”
Participants came from various regions of Russia and countries near and far abroad. Winners and prize-winners received valuable prizes, and among the spectators, three tickets for the minor Hajj were raffled - a wonderful opportunity for fans to strengthen their faith and take part in a blessed journey.
