Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala Emphasizes a Vital Truth with Powerful Oaths

In Surah Ash-Shams, Allah (swt) makes a series of eleven oaths to capture our complete focus before delivering a crucial message. He swears by: - The sun and its radiant light - The moon as it follows after - The day when it reveals all - The night when it covers everything - The sky and the One Who constructed it - The earth and the One Who spread it out - The human soul and the One Who perfected it - And how He inspired within it both its potential for evil and its capacity for righteousness Then, He declares: 'He will certainly succeed who purifies it (the soul), and he will certainly fail who corrupts it.' Never forget: every time you strive against your lower desires or a sinful temptation, you are actually purifying and elevating your soul. It's a sign you're on the path of success, insha'Allah.
