Aceh Police Hands Over 46 Sacrificial Animals for the Community on Eid al-Adha

The Aceh Regional Police handed over and symbolically slaughtered sacrificial animals at the Aceh Police Headquarters on Wednesday (27/5/2026), in conjunction with Eid al-Adha 1447 H. The event was led by Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Marzuki Ali Basyah as a gesture of social care. Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Joko Krisdiyanto, stated that this routine sacrifice reflects the spirit of togetherness and strengthens ties with the community. The sacrificial animals were symbolically handed over to representatives of the Wali Nanggroe, the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, and the slaughtering committee. This year, a total of 46 animals were slaughtered, consisting of 27 cows and 19 goats. The meat will be distributed to communities, villages, and Islamic boarding schools in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar.
