A Moment of Kindness That Touched My Heart
Assalamu alaikum, everyone. Yesterday, I was completely worn out after a long bus ride. I was walking home, totally exhausted, when I noticed a banana seller who happened to be Muslim. I picked out some bananas and asked to try a different variety just for eating. Even though I was ready to pay, he insisted on giving it to me for free out of pure kindness. I swear, I felt such a warm, genuine aura from him-it was like a wave of compassion. People like him show what being a good Muslim is all about. I'm from India, where sadly many people harbor prejudice against Muslims, but I think that's just ignorance. Sure, kind-hearted people exist in every faith, but I wish more folks would open their eyes to reality. I dream of a day when no one judges others based on race or religion, even if it might never fully happen. Just wanted to express my gratitude-thank you! And by the way, I smiled at him and said shukran.
