A friend of mine wants to learn about Islam. What Qur'an translation or intro book should I get her?

Assalamu alaikum everyone! I have a friend who wasn't brought up Muslim but she's really interested in finding out more about Islam. I want to give her something as a gift that's super beginner-friendly, something that helps her understand the Qur'an in a good way. I was thinking of getting her a Qur'an translation, but I'm not sure which one is best for someone starting from zero. Like, should I go with The Clear Quran, The Majestic Quran, or maybe something else? Also, is it better to just give a plain translation first, or one that has explanations with it, or maybe a separate book that covers the basics of Islam? I grew up in a Muslim family so I never really had to figure out the best first step for someone new to all this. I'd really love some advice from anyone who's helped non-Muslims learn about Islam before, especially on what's easiest to get into and explains things clearly and gently.
