26-Year-Old SPPG Head Found Dead at Kings Shopping Centre Bandung, Police Secure Letter and Personal Items
A 26-year-old head of the Nutrition Service Unit (SPPG) in Pameungpeuk, Bandung Regency, was found dead in the parking area of Kings Shopping Centre, Bandung City, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, around morning. Regol Bandung Police Chief, Kompol Megawati Triyani, confirmed that her office received a report from the shopping center's security staff at about 6:30 AM WIB.
Regol Police personnel along with the Inafis team from Bandung City Police immediately processed the crime scene. The victim was found on the 12th floor of the building with a rope. During the crime scene investigation, officers secured several pieces of evidence, including a mobile phone, sandals, an ID card, and a handwritten letter.
According to the police, the letter contained a message asking for forgiveness to the victim's family. The discovery of the letter drew public attention after it circulated widely on social media. The police are still investigating the case further.
