ئاسسالامۇ ئەلەيكۇم - So my mind’s been on this whole idea of loving just for Allah's sake lately. I mean, it’s like, our love should really start with Him, not about status, comfort, or just being selfish. There’s something kinda holy about that kind of love, ya know? When it’s rooted in Allah, it feels more solid and not so fragile. It’s not about owning someone or trying to fill some empty space inside you; it turns into a kind of worship. You love with intention, with mercy and patience, and you trust that Allah is the one holding that bond together. That love feels really close to divine because Allah is in it. In tough times, you find calm; when there’s distance or silence, you still keep that trust. You’re not loving just to be taken over by it-you're loving to lift each other up, to take care of each other’s hearts and akhirah. When two people love for Allah’s sake, Allah blesses that connection: their affection grows deeper, their souls recognize each other, and that relationship can last through moods, challenges, and time. It’s a love that won’t drain you; instead, it softens you, polishes you up, and pulls you closer to Him. Shaykh Ibn al-‘Uthaymin رحمه الله said: “Those who love each other for the sake of Allah will not be torn apart by worldly issues. Because their bond is based on their love for Allah, nothing will come between them except death. Even if they sometimes hurt each other or don’t fully meet each other’s rights, their connection stays strong, as it goes beyond material worries and human flaws.” Just some thoughts - may Allah guide our hearts to love in a way that makes Him happy.
