Thinking of Making Hijra as an Engineer?

Assalamu alaykum, I’m studying engineering with a focus on energy here in France. I’ve been thinking about moving to a Muslim country for my hijra, and I’m curious if any of you have done that. I’ve got my eye on Malaysia, but I don’t really know what daily life looks like there or if I can keep up with my deen while working as an engineer. Also, is the pay decent for someone coming from France? I’d love to hear about your experiences living abroad, even if it’s not Malaysia. May Allah make it easy for all of us.
