Secret Muslim from India Seeking Advice

Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. I’m a revert from India, coming from a Hindu background. I’ve had to hide my faith because the environment here can be tough for Muslims. Alhamdulillah, it’s been five years since I embraced Islam. But I still struggle to do certain things like fasting in Ramadan or wearing hijab, since it’s not always safe or possible. I’m hoping to become financially independent soon so I can practice my deen freely, In Sha Allah. Are there any other reverts from India who keep their conversion private or face similar challenges? I’d love to hear how you cope.
