Roy Suryo's Camp Accuses Jokowi of Breaching Court Procedures: Showing Diplomas Without the Judge's Permission

Roy Suryo's lawyer, Refly Harun, highlighted that Joko Widodo showed his diplomas during the trial at the East Jakarta District Court without the panel of judges' permission. He reckons this move violated trial procedures and was done twice. Refly also questioned why the diplomas which had been confiscated by prosecutors were actually presented directly by Jokowi, not by the public prosecutor. He suspects there’s a difference between the diplomas shown in court and the documents during the special case presentation at Polda Metro Jaya on December 15, 2025. In the trial, Jokowi displayed his diplomas from elementary school up to his bachelor's degree from UGM in front of the judges and the defendant.
