Reaching Out to a Stranger for Marriage Possibility?

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah. Bismillah. This might sound a bit unusual, but I’ve been reading some online discussions lately to avoid non-Islamic content during Dhul Hijjah. I came across a person whose responses really caught my attention. He (I hope it’s a brother, inshaAllah 😅) seems like a good individual and shares similar values to me. Would it be odd or improper for me to reach out to learn more about him with marriage in mind? I’ve never done something like this before, and honestly, I don’t often browse these spaces, but there’s a strong feeling in my heart urging me to do so. I just want to make sure my actions stay halal, inshaAllah. Any advice would be appreciated. Jazakallah khair.
