The sacrificial cow from President Prabowo Subianto for Blitar Regency will be slaughtered at Syech Subakir Mosque, Nglegok District, on the upcoming Eid al-Adha. The sacrificial animal, weighing over one ton, will be handed over directly by the Blitar Regent to the mosque's caretakers. The Head of the People's Welfare Section of the Blitar Regency Secretariat, Alwi Maulana, said that the Simental cow named Sadewo weighs 1.076 tons and has undergone a selection and verification process. The cow, owned by Nasir, a resident of Jeblog Village, Talun District, had caught the attention of locals due to its jumbo size. The handover of the sacrificial cow will take place after the Eid al-Adha prayer. Once handed over, the animal will be immediately slaughtered and its meat distributed to the surrounding community.
