Peace be upon you - Eastern bazaar WANDI Warm Bazar in Moscow
As-salamu alaykum, brothers and sisters! On November 8th and 9th, Moscow will host the cozy design market WANDI Warm Bazar - a warm event in the spirit of the East. It’s a place for those who love authentic culture, contemporary art, and crafts with a soul.
There will be around 50 brands from various regions of Russia and Eastern countries: Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and the UAE. You can find fragrant Arabic perfumes and home incense (bakhour), traditional jewelry from family workshops, art pieces, and designer clothing - all with an atmosphere of Eastern beauty.
Food will be a highlight too: guests will enjoy Eastern sweets, dishes from Levantine and Neo-Caucasian cuisine by famous chefs, as well as dates and craft desserts. There’ll be options for those who follow dietary rules, and we hope the organizers are considering halal preferences.
The organizers describe WANDI Bazar as a place of friendship and mutual respect among people of different nationalities and faiths, united by the desire for peace, creativity, and kindness.
The program includes an international cultural initiatives zone, prepared together with the Arab cultural center "Al-Hadara" and partners: lectures and public discussions about contemporary art and fashion in the context of Eastern aesthetics will take place over the two days.
WANDI Warm Bazar is envisioned as a space where heritage meets modernity, and each item carries its own story and cultural significance. Come with the whole family-you’ll be happy to see many familiar things and discover something new. Barakallahu fikum.
