NU Congress Just Days Away, Committee Runs RFID Registration Drill
The local committee for the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Congress held a rough rehearsal at the delegate registration post in Jombang on Saturday (Aug 22). The drill was meant to test how ready all the divisions are for welcoming delegates from all over the place.
Local Committee Chair KH Abdurrozaq (Gus Rozaq) dropped by to check things out himself and said that, for now, he's pretty satisfied with how it went, even though there are a few notes they'll fix up before the final rehearsal.
The registration system runs on digital tech with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and QR codes linked up to PBNU's official database. They're checking the data really strictly to make sure everything stays secure and things go smoothly when thousands of delegates start arriving.
