Noel Suggests Prabowo Embrace PDIP and Habib Rizieq for Stability
Former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer (Noel) advised President Prabowo Subianto to reach out to PDIP and the group led by Habib Rizieq Shihab to strengthen government stability. He claimed there’s an opposition consolidation brewing that could trigger a political escalation like 1998 around June-July 2026. "Pak Prabowo needs to find strategic and loyal allies. First PDIP, second Habib Rizieq’s camp," he said at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Thursday (6/4/2026).
Noel warned of a potential government overthrow if it’s not anticipated. He said the consolidation of civilian elements, students, workers, and mass organizations is already mature, just waiting for a trigger. Economic pressures like the weakening rupiah and plummeting stock index are seen as early indicators of social upheaval.
He reminded Prabowo to pick political partners who are committed, not those just chasing positions or money. "Don’t look for parties that flip-flop or friends who only care about positions. Poor Pak Prabowo, his people-oriented vision is already extraordinary," he concluded. This warning comes amid heated political dynamics and economic issues weighing on the public.
