My Personal Plan for the Last 10 Nights: Seeking Laylatul Qadr
Assalamu alaikum everyone! I wanted to share a plan that a dear sister put together for maximizing these blessed nights. May Allah accept it from her and benefit us all. After Maghrib: - Pray Maghrib first. - Break your fast. - Take just 5 minutes to thank Allah and make dua. - Read a few pages from the Qur'an. After Isha: - Pray Isha. - Pray 4 rak'ahs of night prayer calmly. - Make heartfelt dua for about 10 minutes. - Read a bit more Qur'an. Before Sleeping: - Say Astaghfirullah 100 times. - Read a couple pages of Qur'an. - Set the intention to wake up before Fajr. Before Fajr (Super Important!): - Pray 4 rak'ahs of night prayer and witr. - Make long, sincere dua. - Repeat the dua for Laylat al-Qadr: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni. - Say Astaghfirullah 200 times. After Fajr: - Pray Fajr. - Recite the morning adhkar. - Read a few pages of Qur'an. Simple Acts with Big Reward (During the Day): - Say Astaghfirullah often. - Keep up dhikr: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar. - Make dua frequently. - Give even a small charity daily. - Teach your child one short verse from the Qur'an. - Play Qur'an recitation in the house. Simple Daily Goals: - Read 1 Juz' of the Qur'an, spread out through the day. - Say Istighfar 500-1000 times. - Make dua at those special times: before Maghrib, during the night, and before Fajr. A Reminder for Moms: Caring for your kids with a sincere intention is also worship. Being patient with them, nurturing them, and serving them for Allah's sake brings so much reward. With the right intention, your whole day can be an act of worship. May Allah make it easy for all of us!
