My Father Has Returned to Allah – Please Make Dua for Him
Ya Allah, pardon every sin he fell into, every error he made, and every weakness he had. Shower him with Your mercy and forgive him fully. Don’t count his faults against him, and turn all his wrongs into Your forgiveness and kindness. Ya Allah, make his resting place wide and full of light. Turn his grave into a garden from the gardens of Jannah, and shield him from the trial of the grave. Grant him peace, ease, and calmness where he is now. Ya Allah, make his questioning simple for him. Keep him steady when the angels ask, and let him reply with belief and confidence. Make his final words and his meeting with You a path to mercy. Ya Allah, lift his status among the pious. Put him with those You care for and are happy with. Surround him with Your angels, Your mercy, and Your pardon. Ya Allah, if he did any good, multiply it for him. If he had failings, overlook them. If he ever aided someone, fed the hungry, comforted a heart, prayed for anyone, or did any kindness I might not know, bless him for it without end. Ya Allah, accept all his prayers, every fast he kept, every charity he gave, every kind word he spoke, and every act of worship he did. Don't let a single good deed slip away. Ya Allah, forgive him on the Day when all of us are desperate for Your mercy. Put his book of deeds in his right hand. Make his accounting light and keep him far from punishment. Ya Allah, give him the top levels of Jannatul Firdaus with no torment and no hard reckoning. Let him walk into Jannah through Your mercy, and let him live forever in joy, peace, and comfort. Ya Allah, give him a house in Jannah better than any home he ever had in this life. Give him lovely gardens, flowing streams, shade, and everything his soul longs for. Take away all his sorrow, ache, fear, and hardship. Ya Allah, bring him together with the righteous ones he cherished. Surround him with good friends in Jannah, and make him happy with the reward You've readied for him. Ya Allah, please let me see him again in Jannah. Don't let this goodbye be forever. Join us again in a place with no death, no sadness, no sickness, no fear, and no parting at all. Ya Allah, I miss him so much. You know the hurt in my heart more than anyone. You know the memories I keep, the things I regret not saying, and the moments I wish I could have shared with him. Turn my ache into reward and my tears into mercy for him. Ya Allah, whenever I think of him and my heart feels heavy, remind me that Your mercy is bigger than my grief. Give me patience and let me be among those who trust Your plan, even when it's hard. Ya Allah, let every dua I make for him reach him as kindness and benefit. Let the charity I give in his name help him. Let any good thing I do for Your sake, hoping its reward goes to him, lift his rank. Ya Allah, forgive all our parents who have left this world. Forgive him and every Muslim who has gone back to You. Shower them with mercy, light up their graves, and grant them Jannah. Ya Allah, don't let me lose the reward of being patient after losing him, and don't test me with hopelessness. Give me sabr, strengthen my heart, and help me keep making dua for him all my life. Ya Allah, he can't return to this dunya, but You are the Lord of everything and nothing is beyond You. So please bless him with a wonderful life in the Hereafter, way better and more peaceful than anything he had here. Ya Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, honor his place, widen his entrance, wash him with water, snow, and hail, and clean him from sins like a white cloth is cleaned of dirt. Give him a home better than his home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Ya Allah, let him into Jannah and save him from the punishment of the grave and the blazing Fire. Ya Allah, have mercy on him as he showed mercy to others. Honor him, raise him, forgive him, and never let him be forgotten by Your mercy. Ya Allah, let me keep making dua for him even as the years go by. Don't let me ever forget him. Make me a righteous child whose prayers and good deeds keep benefiting him. And Ya Allah, on the Day when we all rise again, let me spot him among the people of Jannah. Let me know him, let him know me, and let us hug each other once more. Ya Allah, bring us together in Jannatul Firdaus and never split us apart again. Allahumma’ghfir lahu warhamhu, wa ‘afihi wa’fu ‘anhu. O Allah, forgive him, have mercy upon him, pardon him, honor him, expand his grave, light it up for him, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen ya Rabb al-‘Alameen. 🤍
